Kenneth D. Nahum, DO, FACP

Dr. Kenneth D. Nahum specializes in hematology/oncology, and is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. Dr. Nahum has been treating patients in Monmouth and Ocean Counties for more than 20 years. He is a Principal Investigator in 120 clinical trials and his areas of interest are breast cancer, GI cancer, lung cancer and hematologic malignancies.

Dr. Nahum received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He completed his residency at Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and completed his fellowship training at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Nahum is Chief of Oncology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and a Clinical Associate Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Nahum is affiliated with Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ, Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ, and CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group.

Dr. Nahum received the Humanitarium Award of the Year from Kimball Medical Center, Teacher of the Year from Jersey Shore University Medical Center, as well as the Melvin Modilinsky Fellowship Award, Louis F. Albright Award for Clinical Teaching Excellence, and he was voted Nurses Choice — Physician of the Year at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr Nahum has also been voted one of New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s “Top Doctors” in 2007, 2009, 2011, and 2012.
