Let RCCA help you begin your cancer treatment journey.

If you’ve been recently diagnosed with cancer, it’s normal to feel overwhelmed, including not knowing where to begin. At Regional Cancer Care Associates, we’re here to be your advocate, your partner and your guide on your journey to defeating cancer. Here’s how to get started…

Step 1: Get Diagnosed

If you haven’t received a cancer diagnosis but suspect you may have cancer, we can help. You’ll get the most accurate, appropriate and thorough testing available today with the diagnostic skill of our oncologists and state-of-the-art technology and techniques.

If you have been recently diagnosed with cancer, testing and imaging may be necessary or helpful for cancer staging, treatment planning, monitoring and more. You may also desire a second opinion regarding diagnosis or recommended treatment.

Step 2: Verify Your Insurance

While RCCA strives to accept most major insurance plans, insurance relationships change. We recommend checking with your insurance company prior to your first visit to verify and understand your coverage, your deductible and co-pay, prescription coverage, special requirements or guidelines, etc.

You can also visit our Insurance page to see a list of insurance plans we accept. If you have additional questions about insurance verification, please don’t hesitate to call RCCA at (844) 346-7222.

PLEASE NOTE:

RCCA is dedicated to helping you get the care you need, including offering financial counseling and advocating on your behalf for financial assistance. We also recommend checking with your employer or health plan regarding your access to an insurance manager, who can help you with the complexities of insurance coverage as part of your particular plan.

Step 3: Schedule Your Appointment

If you know the doctor or location you’re looking for, you can schedule your appointment by calling that particular RCCA office. Or simply call (844) 346-7222 to speak with our knowledgeable and experienced ,staff to ask any questions, and let us know how we can make your visit go as smoothly as possible.

Step 4: Collect Your Medical Records

Please request and obtain your medical records from your referring physician before your first appointment. This will enable us to most accurately diagnose your condition… and to plan the most appropriate and effective treatment. These records include past visit history, imaging reports, pathology reports, blood test reports, etc.. When you schedule your appointment, we’ll help figure out exactly what records to bring with you and tell you how to prepare for your first visit.
