Martin Gutierrez, MD
Dr. Martin Gutierrez specializes in medical oncology, thoracic and gastrointestinal oncology, and is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. He treats patients in the New Jersey community and is the Director of the Drug Discovery/Phase I Unit.
Dr. Gutierrez received his medical degree from Javeriana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Javeriana University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center in internal medicine and conducted his fellowship training at the National Institutes of Health in medical oncology and hematology.
Dr. Gutierrez holds an appointment at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Massachusetts Medical Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Hematology, National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project, Cancer and Leukemia Group B, Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, and Cancer Trials Support Unit. He is a reviewer for the scientific journals Clinical Cancer Research, The Cancer Journal and Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology.
