Michele Donato, MD
Dr. Michele Donato specializes in medical oncology/hematology, and is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. For more than 10 years, she has been treating patients in the Hackensack, New Jersey community. Dr. Donato is actively involved in blood stem cell transplantation research.
Dr. Donato received her medical degree from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She completed her residency at McGill University in internal medicine and conducted her fellowship training at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, in medical oncology.
Dr. Donato holds an appointment at Hackensack University Medical Center. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program, the Ovarian Cancer Working Group Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Subcommittee, BMT Pain Collaborative Mucositis Subcommittee, Credentials Committee of the Medical Staff (CCMS), and the Growth Task Force Committee. She has been awarded the Medal of the Governor General of Canada for the Highest Academic Standing, the Denis Dussiaume Award for Academic Excellence, and the McGill University J.W. McConnell Entrance Award.
