Dr. Fredrick Smith of RCCA’s Chevy Chase, Maryland Division is the recipient of the LUNGevity 2020 Face of Hope Award. Dr. Smith received the award for his tireless work on behalf of people affected by lung cancer and the compassionate care he provides for his patients. In practice, he continues to pursue cutting-edge cancer care focused on the comfort and satisfaction of each patient and their family. Over the years, Dr. Smith has directed countless patients to LUNGevity’s resources and is well known for his compassionate care and commitment to supporting his patients. Dr. Smith has also been an integral advocate in the community to promote access to clinical research.
