RCCA’s Dr. Kenneth D. Nahum and his team are ’embracing their hair’ this November in support of the American Cancer Society’s GrowNation. There are a number of ways for you to join Dr. Nahum’s team and get in on the fuzzy fundraising, but it can get a bit hairy. You see, this worthy cause involves bigger beards, manlier mustaches, or even letting that leg hair grow!
With your help, the American Cancer Society is attacking cancer from every angle. The funds you raise mean more than breakthrough research. They also provide free rides to chemo, a live 24/7 helpline, and free lodging near hospitals and more.
Dr. Nahum is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology and has treated patients in Monmouth and Ocean Counties for more than 20 years. He is a Principal Investigator in 120 clinical trials and his areas of interest are breast cancer, GI cancer, lung cancer and hematologic malignancies.
Dr. Nahum was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September 2016. With this diagnosis came a greater understanding on how patients may feel as they undergo treatment.
